a computer-aided tutorial for 3-d structural analysis of 2-d seismic data is included in the book. to access this tutorial, the reader is taken to the interactive website (www.geogiga.com) where the tutorial is accessed by clicking on the icon of the tutorial. the tutorial includes some practice exercises, the answers to which are provided at the end of the tutorial. it shows how to interpret a field survey using 3-d seismic data and how to interpret reservoir properties. for those interested in the tutorial, the website also provides a series of interactive 3-d images which show 3-d seismic interpretation, and which provide insight into reservoir and geological interpretation. the tutorial is based on geoprow version 3.4 software (see ).
after a guide to the fundamental concepts of seismic data acquisition and processing, the book turns to the seismic reflection contribution to hydrocarbon exploration. the first part of the book concentrates on basic ideas, while the second part concentrates on interpretation of 3-d data, particularly for reservoir studies. the book ends with a tutorial on the interpretation of resistivity data. sections are not numbered and the book is organized to help the reader follow the tutorial. each tutorial and the associated problems are preceded by an introduction to the subject. a glossary, tables, and formulas are also included.
the book is fully illustrated with almost all figures in color and those that are black and white are accompanied by a description. the geological and structural diagrams are explained in a manner that makes them clear to the reader. a separate chapter is devoted to the processes of rock identification, including the identification of hydrocarbons, the interpretation of seismic horizons and the formation of a seismic horizon, the interpretation of the seismic properties of rocks, and the estimation of the pore pressure of rocks. the author also describes the methods and the tools used to estimate rock properties. d8a7b2ff72

geogiga front end 9.3 is a compact application designed to help you process and analyze seismic data. the refractor version 7.3 software can also be used to process surface wave data. this guide is suitable for surface and surface plus in geogiga seismic. both are used to process surface wave data. table 0-1 shows the functional geogiga technology corp. software for geogiga seismic. geogiga refractor - version 7.3.1 - may 20, 2017 full version downloaded from geogiga software refractor - version 7.3 - thank you for choosing dw tomo the refraction tomography software in geogiga seismic. pro. using dw tomo, you can: if you are a first-time user, first read the getting started with geogiga seismic results for seismic data software from rokdoc, geocarta, geogiga refractor and other leading brands. compare and contact a supplier in canada. installation instructions. to install geogiga seismic pro: (1) disconnect the software protection key. the driver may not be installed properly if. download free geogiga software, front end express, and the latest software protection all manuals and tutorials for geogiga software are in pdf format.
in relation to the geological engineering cross-section of the research area (fig. 4 ), one may notice that the first two near-surface seismic layers correspond to clayey colluvium formations. the seismic boundary occurring at a depth of approximately 10 to 15m may be correlated to the roof of the less weathered rock mass of the shale and shale/sandstone series. in the seismic image, the bedrock (third layer) did not undergo significant changes as a result of infiltration, which confirms lesser disturbance by landslide processes in comparison with colluvium layers. presumably, the bedrock roof boundary is one of the most important failure surfaces of the landslide. the trough-like shape of this seismic boundary in the central part of the seismic section may be connected with the greater range of weathering in the zone of weaker hieroglyphic beds.
