I am looking for a guide on how to backup a robot. Tried to search online but not really sure what to look for.Would like to take a backup of the program before modifying. The best thing to do is to keep your robot code separate from the deployment code. You can keep the robot code in a file called robot.pro as it will be read-only. The deployment code, which is run when the robot starts can be stored in the file deployment.pro. These files can be saved in any location on your local drive. Once the robot code is saved as robot.pro, it becomes read-only and can not be modified using a text editor. To edit the robot code, you need a file editor, such as Notepad, Microsoft Word, or Google Docs.
