adobe illustrator now has a built-in embroidery engine called embroideryi2 . adobe illustrator is a vector graphics editing application. it can also be used for prototyping, creating and sharing your own art. embroideryi2 works on a few operating systems and can be used with windows and mac os.
embroideryi2 is an open source project. the engine allows you to create custom embroidery patterns on clothing, bags and other items. it currently only has an embroidery engine on the machine operator panel. users need to know how to draw the shapes they want to create an embroidery pattern on. they can create what looks like a drawing using pen and ink in illustrator. the shape you draw on the fabric will be used to make your embroidery. there is an engine that helps you do this and has the logic to construct the embroidery pattern using different steps. you can edit any line and change the length to make the line the size you want. the more you work on the project, the more you can get a good understanding of how the engine works. d8a7b2ff72

Adobe Illustrator has a big, well-documented learning curve, but then it also has a very comprehensive illustration package of features. I think the embroidery software starts you off by assuming that you are an expert Illustrator user and then slowly introduces you to the software, letting you know what can be done and how it can be done.Embroidery i2's interface is fairly easy to use. You can set up an account with Embroidery i2 and then use that to create a label. Embroidery i2 can create embroidery designs in a variety of sizes from a typical pamphlet size to garment size -- you can even create 2-color designs.Embroidery i2 is aimed at the technically savvy graphic designer who enjoys the versatility of Illustrator. It works on both Mac and Windows platforms, and it even allows you to use Windows' InDesign - a rare feat indeed among embroidery software. I also appreciated that if I made a mistake I could undo it easily, and that Embroidery i2 would prompt me to change the colors I had selected for the piece. My only complaint is that I found that Embroidery i2 did not make the image as sharp as it could be. I had only minor image quality problems, though.
