Dhanak 720p Movies
having said that, the film tries too hard to be adorable, with its one-eyed little protagonist, its devious villains, and its outlandish characters. nagesh kukunoor has a knack for finding wacky characters (think ‘slumdog millionaire’) and his ability to write the most unlikely of stories could make for an entertaining experience for audiences who are used to watching mainstream films. as a matter of fact, dhanak is very similar to what kukunoor did in his earlier directorial venture, ‘that girl in yellow boots’ (2010), which was also a story of a blind kid and a film-star cameo, albeit in a different context. dhanak is a cute film but it’s nowhere near as good as that one. it’s a very good film and way better than kukunoor’s other directorial ventures, ‘hasee toh phasee’ (2011) and ‘saloon (2012).
dhanak is a great film and shows that sometimes, a movie can be simple and sweet as well, and even the most unlikely of people can find themselves in some of the most unusual of situations. dhanak is a family friendly film, and it is a must watch for all the family.

as much as dhanak (meaning rainbow) is about the journey and keeping the faith, there is also the back-story of these two young children what caused chotus visual condition and why do they live with their aunt (gulfam khan) and uncle (vipin sharma) but kukunoor deftly steers clear of any melodrama surrounding their past or the resentful aunt who has been forced to adopt these children.
the first hindi movie to be shot on digital cameras, dhanak was a high-octane digital effort in an era when video cameras had not yet begun to develop a market. dhanak was an unqualified success, something that was to put the digital camera on the map. the film boasts a rousing rock soundtrack in the form of songs by shankar jaikishan. the music of dhanak is beyond comparison the best you have ever heard. all thanks to tapas relia. it blends in beautifully with some of the superlative rajasthani folk-song flavours to embellish the score with a rare touch. inclusion of chet dixon s cameo was subtly done. the fusion that emanates therefrom is a rare mix of melody that goes on to show music has no language and that it simply keeps getting better and better with such winsome collaborations.
the film opens with a dramatic bang: chotu, an ex-convict, is shot dead in a police encounter. the cops cover it up, and chotu s furious wife pari vows revenge. so begins a high-speed chase through the streets of delhi, which is as dramatic as it is absurd. dhanak gets good mileage out of its onscreen chaos, and the film s tone shifts from the grim to the funny as the story moves along.
