the developers of the product have always made their money on game sales. if you buy a cracked copy, you are not only doing yourself a disservice, but you are also hurting the developers who worked tirelessly to make the game. you are also hurting your fellow gamers who can’t afford the full-price game. this is theft, plain and simple.
the two biggest selling points of the software are the game and the online database. you are not entitled to these. you should be happy you can play a game at all, and be grateful to the developers who have worked hard to make the game. cracked copies are not necessary; even with cheaters the average playtime is well into double figures. if you like to play online and find the cheating to be beyond frustrating, then don’t buy a cracked copy. but if you buy a cracked copy, make sure you do the following:
download our official crack/patch to open the game up and have access to our online database. we also offer a free 8-level challenge. try the game out for a few hours and see if it’s all that it’s cracked up to be. if it’s not, then at least you won’t have to deal with the cheaters. the game is complete.
i guess your not being a true/false condition is valid though, in the case of a server emulator, it's often never fully emulated, but still playable. for traditional cracks, sometimes the game is made playable, but additional checks are still present that cause problems later, that would also be a partial crack.i think in cases where the game isn't playable in any form and all you get it a login screen, that still counts as uncracked. d8a7b2ff72

the mechanics are not bad but they are minimal, and are thinned out by an unchallenging dull storyline that fails to engage and a dearth of imagination. the bulk of your story is about getting to the next room to collect more dolls to take to the secret lab. if the story had been less dull, you'd have more time to spend on battling the clock to beat it or developing your skills. many, many hours are devoted to the dull combat and puzzles that unlock powers and mostly there to unlock the combat and puzzles. fortunately, the combat and puzzles in darkspore are quite nice and enjoyable, very much like the simple movement controls and variety of combat style in spore, but they feel like a gimmick more than part of a game that challenges you. the puzzles in general are gimped in darkspore; there are some excellent mechanics, such as matching up three types of spawn points and level them up, but there are others such as switchy rooms, that are too difficult for them to be fun. the research tech is also quite tedious, as it's limited to a very basic research tree that has room for only a few levers, switches and robots, and to try to engage a robot you need to buy more research points, which are gained from the treasure chests you open (which are often locked to the research tree you need).
if this sounds familiar, that's because it is - the tales of a new world for gamers project. darkspore is simply a free to play ea port of the highly successful tales of a new world for pc. while not all the same gameplay modes of the pc version, it has most of them (there are a couple of minor differences) and if you've played the pc version you'll be on familiar ground.
