AutoCAD 2020 has a new Update Modeling Toolbar (UMT), called Viewer Ribbon. It enables viewing of non-hierarchical model views, supports 3D views in model space, and adds improved clarity to modeling, drawing, and annotating surfaces, edges, polylines, curves, and arcs.
AutoCAD has a new integrated 3D display and solid modeling tool, called the Geometry Modeling Tool (GMT). This tool is available with all models and supports all file formats. AutoCAD now has a 3D navigation and selection tool, and a single rotation option.
In AutoCAD 2020, you can select which parts of a model are visible and which parts are hidden by using the show and hide function.
You can use the Dimension Editor to add and modify dimensions. The Dimension Editor lets you edit dimensions and the control points that define them.
The Appearance Editor is similar to the Materials Editor, but now it provides a few more options, such as image transparency, color, and specification of image fills and strokes.
The Data Management tool in AutoCAD has expanded and is now called Data Management. The new tool can be used to save, import, export, and delete DWF, DGN, DWF, DXF, AutoLISP, and PLY files.
In AutoCAD 2020, you can select the default modeling units in Model View or edit them using the Model Units dialog box, or by using Units dialog box.
You can use the Sample Coordinates tool to add and edit a 2D coordinate system, and you can use the Editor to insert and modify 2D coordinates.
The Paper Space, Axes, and Coordinate Systems tool is now called the Drawing Sets tool. It lets you select the type of paper space you want to use and a coordinate system.
A new shortcut key is available for creating patterns in a drawing.
The Conditional Formatting tool lets you apply and modify conditional formatting rules.
There is a new, improved CPA Viewer tool, which lets you create a CPA Viewer (Collision Profile for Actions) to generate a CPA file, a file that represents the collision properties of selected objects and can be used to limit the actions of those objects.

When does C++ automatically convert to C?
I've been working on a big project for school and we've been using C++ for a while. Since switching to Objective-C, I find myself wanting to return back to C a lot. Does anyone know when C++ automatically converts to C?

The C++ standard refers to this as “C conversion”.
The conversions are:
the implicit conversion of a C++ type to a C type if it is able to convert to the corresponding C type. This is known as the usual arithmetic conversions.
the implicit conversion of a C++ boolean type to a C boolean type.
the implicit conversion of a C++ pointer type to a C pointer type if the C++ type can be converted to the corresponding C type. If not, then the C++ pointer is first converted to void* (if not void*) and then the conversion to the corresponding C pointer is made.
the implicit conversion of a C++ reference to a C reference if it is able to convert to the corresponding C type. This is the only conversion which isn’t specified in the standard.
the implicit conversion of a C++ class object to a C struct (or union) type if it is able to convert to the corresponding C type.
