I want to create an Iterable in the form of a vector:

This is fine. Now I want to get an iterator over this vector. I'm using Scala 2.8.1.
I have tried:
val vec: Iterable[Int] = Vector()
val iter: Iterator[Int] = vec.iterator
and
val iter: Iterator[Int] = Vector().iterator
Both return:
