aero simulation software (www.aero-simulation.com) has just released the kastellorizo addon pack for fsdg, simulating the real-world island of kastellorizo, greece. unfortunately its not yet available through the regular chortle store, but the download is ready to go and can be found here:
kastellorizo is one of the greek islands of dodecanese to the north-east of rhodes. fsdg is a free addon for fsx and fs2004/fsx. despite the island being relatively small and the number of areas on the island being few, the scenery is pretty good. fsdg is an officially supported addon for fsx and in this release both fsx and p3d have been supported.
overview:aerosoft has just updated fsdg to add the island of kastellorizo, the mainland of greece, the island of rhodes and added the sea. in this release the scenery features a brand new airport (kastellorizo) which hosts a major international airport, local roads/bus routes, villages and streets. there are a few problems on the island with access rights that fsdg relies on, mainly a folder containing weather reports. this has been acknowledged by aerosoft and a fix is promised shortly.
features: - high resolution model of kastellorizo, the mainland of greece and the island of rhodes. - high detail airports, towns and roads on the island of kastellorizo. - fsx and p3d support for kastellorizo. - weather reports.
