For God, having appointed him to this 120e, will certainly help and accept his own conaud, even if the minister be evil or unpious: 'when we call . God;' he says, and, elsewhere, 'when we cry out to Him, we will not be heard unless we cry out to Him in faith and love.
So, faith is not just believing in something we know.
Faith is the certainty that we have, no matter what may happen.
When a person believes in God, he knows that God exists, and maybe he knows that God hears him, but this is only if he believes.
If he doesn't believe, he can't be sure.1
