Numerous habits can cause your pores and skin on their own to dry out, including excessive using of the security feature. All of us go through a season in our lifestyle, regardless of how much or how little exercise we take.Q:
What can i expect from SSIS mapreduce JDBC DB2
I am using SSIS to query a DB2 BLOB datatype column from a MySQL table to export all data to files.
Each of these file is sent to a gazette as a package.
I can get the BLOB data correctly copied to the package using a simple SQL job that copies the DB2 BLOB columns from a few rows to file.
I want to minimize the number of steps required to get the data into the packages. I am using the transformation from the "Map" SSIS task to do a simple JPADB job to query the DB2 BLOB column and copy it to the output folder.
It's been working fine but is seems to me that i am missing something. The amount of time it takes to get the same amount of data to the packages using SSIS is extremely long, even when the task is set to complete as soon as possible and the output folder is emptied during this process.
In the SQL Job i do a simple select * from blobs to check the data.
In SSIS the BLOB column seems to take like 30 seconds to get all of the data into the ssis output folder.
My question is:
What is the expected behavior from a map reduce JDBC job to load an ssis package?
or is the amount of time it takes the control flow of the SSIS package or the execution of the JDBC job to get the data into the output folder?
A:
A SELECT * FROM BLOB is a huge no-no in SQL. If you're simply selecting the data
