the version of this document which has been most recently modified by the author. by this, i mean it has the most recent time stamp and the most recent changes. this version gets saved with the name of the most recent change.
l4d2 has now been added to the steam launch options system. this will open the server browser from the steamapps\common\left4dead2\data\ left4dead2launcher.exe icon (next to the left4dead2 icon). press the key "l4d2" to activate it. use the launch options to configure server browser to have live servers automatically marked as live (if they are not already). also use the launch options to configure server browser to have "steam cdn" marked live, which will allow you to use the source streaming cdn (this will allow for even more servers).
the value returned is used when rct3 is run as well as the various console commands that rev.ini provides to access your game. the default server is rct3-beta (steam beta server). if you want to authenticate to another server, edit the line in rev.ini to match the server id provided by idmaster.
if you already have a left4dead2 server running on linux you are currently locked out. just use command line parameters - "gclient" - you will be taken to the git client page example: gclient -l fix f3d_case_casekour_r06_compatibilityfix_rev13586700 -l disable_console_message_when_playing_game
there is an older l4d2 server that works on crack://cg.forge.id/svn. other servers are in the green box list. the game could not be loaded because of a known server glitch. try another server. you may try to get a better code by adding "-v -v -v -v" to the command. you will have to manually edit the code with the patch. start a server with the other code and load the game. the server will immediately crash. the crash may or may not be a game glitch, but the error message should give a clue. there was a plugin problem with the new server update. you will get some strange messages from steam. these are harmless and disappear after connecting the server for a while (a day). after this you should be able to launch the server and your name will be online. the rev.ini ini settings need to be adjusted to be similar to the current server but names are not important - you can enter anything in your name field. you will receive a popup message of the server disconnecting from steam and reconnecting. d8a7b2ff72

nope. you've got a hosted wp site you need to check. the ee-plugin does exist and it is just a matter of finding it. it just happened to be one of those ee plugins that had no activity for a long time (10 years or more). so after re-reading that statement to make sure i wasn't calling the authors out for not making the patch, i realised its only been 14 days. this is how i put it on my site; "search engine optimization is a method of increasing the amount of traffic directed to your site by the search engines. the search engines make their money when a visitor clicks on one of the sponsored links that pay them for that click."
actually, now i just realised by testing with a dmg, that this blog needed quite a bit of modification to accommodate people who prefer the nice n easy dmg method for installing. so quite a few changes made. e.g. a new search-string for those who don't have an existing sapgui client and need to wade through the software downloads site using search.

sometimes a class that you want to edit might be in a span, and then when you use the firebug to edit the class, it will be all bold, but then when you click to save, the span wont be bold. you then have to go back and edit it. this has happened to me a few times. this allows you to go in and open the span and then click on what ever has the class you want to change. this will leave the span in it's normal state. you can then make the changes. you can close the file tab or use the revert button to go back.
