Autograss is a modular plugin, and the users have an option to decide which categories of materials will be included in the plugin. Also, each material is accompanied with a small weighting slider, which, when balanced well, can form some amazing results. By default, "Basic" presets are active in "Basic" category, which define the more common settings for all grasses. "Advanced" presets are active in "Advanced" category, which form a more complex set of settings, and the "Lite" presets are active in the "Lite" category, which are the least common settings for all grass types and can be used for all most cases.
Autograss provides a unique set of tools which allow you to design unique materials. They are able to simulate any kind of light reflection. You can find out more about them on the Autograss website, and you can download the materials that are available in the plugin here. Autograss is a 3D package developed for use with 3ds max, V-Ray and LightWave softwares. In addition to main features, users can use all Autograss materials with the V-Ray renderer. All materials are exported as VRML and OBJ files for archiving and compression purposes.
